SENDING THE GOSPEL TO REMOTE VILLAGES

Where the good news has never gone, we are going.

Missions for Christ International is a Christian non-profit organization that plants churches, translates Scripture, and meets the practical needs of remote villages — so that every people group hears, in its own language, of the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Designated gifts reach the field. Annual field report published every January.

Our mission

Three ways we carry the gospel to the ends of the earth

Every program serves one aim: gospel access for every people, in the language they speak at home, through a church led by their own elders.

Church planting

We send and support local teams who live among the people, learn the language, and plant churches led by local elders from day one.

Scripture translation

Every village we serve is a language we work to reach. Mother-tongue translation, audio Scripture, and literacy classes open the door to lasting faith.

Mercy & water

Clean wells, medical camps, and disaster relief. We meet practical needs because compassion preaches the gospel before a word is spoken.

A mother-tongue Scripture reading in a village gathering
For forty years our grandparents asked when the Creator’s words would come to our language. Tonight our children heard Luke read aloud, and they understood every word.

FAQ

Questions partners ask us

How do you choose the villages you serve?

We prioritize communities with no gospel witness and no church within a day's travel. Teams are sent at the invitation of local believers and church partners, and every field is entered with the goal of handing leadership to local elders within a few years.

Is my gift designated where I choose?

Yes. You can direct your giving to a specific field, to Bible translation, to mercy ministry, or leave it undesignated where the need is greatest. Every dollar is tracked and reported in our annual field report.

How can I pray effectively for the mission?

Create a free Mission Hub account to receive field prayer requests as they come in from village teams, and mark each one as prayed. Requests are specific — a river crossing, a translation check, a conversation with a village elder.

Do you send short-term teams?

We do, sparingly and carefully. Short-term teams serve existing long-term workers on projects they request — medical camps, construction, children's ministry training — never as a substitute for indigenous leadership.

The harvest is plentiful. Go with us.

Whether you pray, give, or go — there is a place for you in this mission.
